Tate McRae Expands ‘Miss Possessive Tour’ With 20+ Dates

Tate McRae just got even more possessive. The multi-platinum star has expanded her global trek, “Miss Possessive Tour,” with more than 20 dates across the U.K. and North America.
The Canadian singer/songwriter will be joined by special guest Alessi Rose on all new North America dates, while special guest BENEE will perform on the new UK dates and all other Europe and UK shows.
The news comes just days ahead of the release of McRae’s third studio album, So Close To What, which is due out Friday, Feb. 21 via RCA Records. The LP is described as “an introspective exploration of self-discovery, love, and nostalgia. The album and its songs navigate the raw emotions of healing an old heart and the hesitations that come with falling in love again, the beautiful and sometimes harsh realities of what it means to be a woman and embracing a newfound confidence.”
The 80-date “Miss Possessive Tour,” which is produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Neutrogena, launches March 18 in Mexico City with a show at Pepsi Centre, followed by gigs in South America. In May she returns to the road and heads to Europe. The new U.K. dates include second nights at London’s O2 Arena and Manchester’s Co-op Live, along with a stop at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena.
The new North American dates are scheduled in October and early November, following the first leg of gigs in the U.S. and Canada that are booked in August and September. The additional shows second and third shows added in cities like Chicago (United Center), Boston (TD Garden), Detroit (Little Caesars Arena), New York (Madison Square Garden) and Los Angeles (Kia Forum in Inglewood), as well as stops in new cities including Salt Lake City (Delta Center); Houston (Toyota Center); Omaha, Nebraska (CHI Health Center) and Raleigh, North Carolina (Lenovo Center).
American Express is hosting a presale for eligible card members that starts Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. local time. An artist presale starts Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. local time. The general onsale begins Thursday, Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. local time at TateMcRae.com.
McRae is booked in North America by CAA’s Shirin Nury and Phil Quist. In the UK she’s represented by CAA’s Ben Coles and Mark Ngui.
