Wizard Live Appoints Head Of New Business In Germany

Wizard Live is strengthening its management team by introducing Sascha Rippberger as head of new business – a newly created position emphasizing the company’s strategic development and growth in new business areas.
Sascha Rippberger co-founded Monkeydrive Printing Factory GmbH in 2005 and ran the company as managing partner until 2020. With entrepreneurial vision and a pronounced can-do attitude, he built the former two-man start-up into one of Europe’s leading producers of merchandise, including its own production facility, particularly for live touring and sporting events.
In recent years, Rippberger, who’s an active musician himself, has worked nationwide as an independent coach and supervisor, specializing in executive coaching, communication and diversity.
“The role as Head of New Business at Wizard Live is the perfect intersection of my skills and my CV. I’m looking forward to the challenge and am very proud to play my part in Wizard Live’s journey,” says Sascha Rippberger.
The appointment comes during a phase of strategic realignment: in addition to its core touring business, Wizard Live now also offers external marketing and communication services as well as strategic artist development and acts as an interface between brands and artists. By strengthening its management team, the company is focussing on sustainable growth and innovative business areas.

The company can look back on more than 20 years of experience in the live entertainment industry and continues to set new standards, as impressively demonstrated by the record attendance at the Hockenheimring with one million fans at ten events.

With more than 500,000 visitors at its events in 2024, Wizard Live once again surpassed the previous year’s strong result. Since 2024, Wizard Live has reorganized its business structure and now combines touring, marketing, artist development and brand partnerships under one roof.
With this latest appointment, “Wizard Live is continuing its growth course and is looking forward to a successful co-operation with Sascha Rippberger,” according to a press release.
