Rilo Kiley Extends ‘Sometimes When You’re On You’re Really F**king On Tour’

Due to popular demand, Rilo Kiley is extending their reunion tour, “Sometimes When you’re On You’re Really F**king ON” with dates in Boston, New York City, Nashville, Atlanta and more. The newly announced dates kick off on Sept. 3 in New Haven, Connecticut, and run until Sept. 26 in Atlanta. The Mountain Goats will be joining Rilo Kiely on Sept. 24 at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, North Carolina.

“Planning this reunion over these past months has been like reconnecting with family,” Pierre de Reeder said in a statement. “The stakes are only to have a good time, to revel in this nostalgia. Getting to revisit and celebrate the music from that special time of our lives while experiencing it alongside a lot of people that lived it with us back when, and new folks alike.”

The upcoming trek marks the band’s first tour in 17 years, and announced plans to release their first-ever greatest hits album, How We Choose To Remember It, set to be released on May 9.

“It couldn’t have happened any sooner,” Jenny Lewis said in a statement. “It feels like now is the time to share that joy and love with each other and with everyone else.”

Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale Feb. 28.
