SaveLive, the platform founded in 2020 to work with independent venue owners, promoters in secondary and tertiary markets, has announced a name change to Gate 52, according to an announcement from the company.

Formed in 2020 during the COVID shutdown, SaveLive was founded by John Fogelman and Marc Geiger to bring scalable services and advantages to independent venue owners, often in secondary markets, at a time when many venues were on the brink of closure due to the shutdown. The success of those pooled resources and sharing of information appears to have brought the company to its next phase.

Gate 52 operates 14 venues and maintains a booking network of over 70 venues, ranging in capacity from 500 to 9,000-plus, ranging from the new Electric City in Buffalo to the historic Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, to the Criterion in Oklahoma City.

Gate 52 offers services including talent buying, marketing, operations, private events, sponsorship, finance and ticketing.
