Louder Than Life Unveils Lineup With Slayer, Deftones, Bring Me The Horizon And Many More

Admat. LTL 2025

Louder Than Life is living up to its name with a gargantuan (and likely very loud) lineup for the 11th edition of the hard rock festival. More than 160 bands will perform across six stages Sept. 18-21 at Highland Festival Grounds at Kentucky Exposition Center with Slayer, Rob Zombie, Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones and Bring Me The Horizon headlining the four-day event.

“We’re coming back to Louder Than Life in Louisville. Get ready f*ckers!” Slayer’s Tom Araya said in a statement.

Though the return of Slayer to the stage was announced back in October, festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents still had some surprises for fans, including a global exclusive performance from Rob Zombie to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Astro-Creep: 2000.

Other acts scheduled to perform at Louder Than Life include Marlyn Manson, Sleep Token, Breaking Benjamin, Bad Omens, A Perfect Circle, $uisideboy$, Evanescence, Knocked Loose, Three Days Grace, Lamb of God, Mudvayne, I Prevail, Spiritbox, All Time Low, Stone Temple Pilots, Cypress Hill, Motionless in White and many more.

“Louder Than Life has always been about showcasing the future of rock and heavy music while honoring the legends who paved the way,” Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents said. “Bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token, Bad Omens, $uicideboy$, Motionless In White, Spiritbox, I Prevail, Slaughter To Prevail, Lorna Shore, Wage War, Dayseeker, and Knocked Loose aren’t just performing—they’re defining the next generation of headliners. At the same time, pioneers like Slayer, Deftones, A Perfect Circle, and Avenged Sevenfold have set the standard, proving that this music is always evolving. This is where the past, present, and future of heavy music collide.”

The festival will feature dozens of special sets and reunions from acts like Acid Bath (reunion), Insane Clown Posse (farewell set), RA (one of the band’s final shows) and The Union Underground (celebrating the 25th anniversary of An Education in Rebellion and the band’s first Kentucky show in over 20 years).

Oli Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon, who were featured on the cover of Pollstar in December, expressed his excitement about the festival saying, “We are very thrilled to finally be returning to America. We have missed our fans dearly and Louder Than Life is one of our favorite festivals to play.”

Four-day and single-day passes are available in different tiers — general admission, VIP and Angel Envy’s Top Shelf — and on sale now at louderthanlifefestival.com. VIP perks include a shaded lounge with live audio and video streams of the main stages, dedicated bars, premium food offerings, outdoor seating and air-conditioned restrooms. A limited supply of Angel’s Envy Top Shelf VIP passes is available and give fans the “rockstar luxury amenities.”

Danny Wimmer Presents also offers an Exacta Pass that provides entry to Louder Than Life and Bourbon & Beyond, which take place back-to-back weekends. Glamping and RV camping options are also offered but are currently on a waitlist.

Louder Than Life debuted in 2014 and has established itself as one of the biggest rock festivals in the world. Last year’s edition gathered more than 150,000 fans over three days, and Danny Wimmer Present’s events in Kentucky have boosted the local economy, generating an impact of more than $33 million in 2024 with more than 300,000 attendees and more than 60,000 hotel rooms booked.
