Pixies Extend North American Tour Dates

Pixies are hitting the road this summer, and the band is extending their run with newly announced dates in August and September. With 14 new dates added, Pixies will head to San Diego, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta and more for their summer tour, including a stop at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

The newly announced dates kick off on Aug. 27 in San Diego, wrapping on Sept. 19 at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta. Spoon and Fazerdaze will join the band from Aug. 27 to Sept. 17, in Nashville.

Previously announced dates include two nights in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Detroit and more. Pixies will also join My Chemical Romance at Rogers Center in Toronto on Aug. 22. Kurt Vile joins the band as support from June 13 to Aug. 1, wrapping up at Palace Theatre in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Pixies are booked by CAA and managed by Key Music Management Ltd.

Among the band’s 306 headline reports submitted to Pollstar since 2004, they’ve sold 1.4 million tickets grossing $68 million. Pixies recently joined Pearl Jam on the road, as well as headlined Liberty Hall in Sydney last November.

Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale Feb. 28.
