My Morning Jacket Adds Fall Dates

My Morning Jacket has added a second leg to the U.S. tour ahead of the release of a new album.

The new dates on “My Morning Jacket ‘is’ ON TOUR” begin Aug. 5 at Bend, Oregon’s Hayden Homes Amphitheatre. A western run in August includes a double at Red Rocks Aug. 15 and 16 and plays at the Hollywood Palladium and elsewhere before concluding at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California, Aug. 22. The new dates pick back up in October, beginning Oct. 8 at The Anthem in Washington, D.C., with multiples in Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Chicago and stops at Nashville’s new The Pinnacle, MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, and more, before wrapping at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta with another double Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.

A ticket request period is underway for members of My Morning Jacket’s One Big Family “Family Pass” program and will continue through March 2 at 10 p.m. Eastern. Standard and VIP ticket requests will then be processed for “Family Pass” holders March 3-4. Presales will then be available to all remaining members of One Big Family beginning March 5 at 10 a.m. local. Local presales start March 6 at 10 a.m. local. My Morning Jacket’s most recent Pollstar Boxoffice report came Sept. 30 at the Johnny Mercer Theatre in Savannah, Georgia, where the band grossed $117,023 on 1,680 tickets.
