Zach Bryan Announces Notre Dame Stadium Gig For Sept. 6

Zach Bryan’s college stadium plans are not limited to Michigan Stadium, apparently, as the Grammy winning country star has announced another doozy, this time at Notre Dame Stadium in Indiana on Sept. 6.
“We’re excited to continue to bring world-class events to the South Bend-Elkhart region. Zach Bryan’s debut at Notre Dame with Shane Gillis and Dermot Kennedy will be another fun and memorable night for the University and the community,” said Mike Seamon, vice president for University operations, events and safety at Notre Dame.
The show will include comedian Shane Gillis and singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 7, via Ticketmaster.
The announcement follows up the previous headline news that Bryan will play the first-ever concert at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, the largest stadium in the U.S. by capacity. That show reportedly moved all available tickets at onsale, with more than 112,000 tickets sold in about two hours.
Both of the newly announces college stadium gigs are promoted by AEG Presents, which also produced the “Quittin’ Time Tour” that reported just shy of $200 million grossed on 49 shows in 2024.
This will be the fourth concert for Notre Dame, which hosted Garth Brooks in 2018 and 2022, and Billy Joel, who also played in 2022. That show reported 45,200 tickets sold and more than $5 million grossed. Notre Dame Stadium has a listed seated capacity of 78,000, but could be larger for Bryan’s show, which would likely include many seats and viewing spaces on the field of play.
The college stadium blockbusters build on already eye-popping stadium announcements for Bryan, who in July will play three nights at MetLife Stadium, which at 82,500 capacity is already large by NFL venue standards. In August he’s doing a special outdoor gig at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, the usual home of Outside Lands Festival, and earlier in the summer is set for massive gigs in the UK and Ireland, including British Summer Time festival at Hyde Park in London.
He’s also headlining Stagecoach in Indio, California, in late April.
