Billy Joel Reschedules 8 Shows After Surgery

Billy Joel is rescheduling a series of stadium concerts as he recovers from a recent surgery.

The 75-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will be off the road for four months, forcing the postponement of dates in Toronto, Detroit, Syracuse, Milwaukee, Charlotte and Salt Lake City in the U.S. and two dates — in Liverpool and Edinburgh — overseas. Those shows, with the exception of Detroit, have been moved to 2026, with new dates announced for all but the Milwaukee show.

All purchased tickets will automatically be valid for the rescheduled shows

Joel — who will be joined by special guests Sting and Stevie Nicks — will resume performances on Nov. 15 at Detroit’s Ford Field with Nicks (see below for reschduled dates) with the run extending until at least July 3, 2026 at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium

On Feb. 8, Joel sold out Indianapolis’s Lucas Oil Stadium, grossing $8,173,873 on 46,598 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
