Lea Michele Announces Spring Tour, Promising Broadway, ‘Glee’ Favorites

After a run portraying Fanny Brice in the recent Broadway revival of “Funny Girl,” Lea Michele is taking her powerhouse vocals on the road for a national tour this May, where she will perform Broadway classics, favorites from “Glee” and her own material as well.
The tour promises to take fans through Michele’s career— from her early beginnings at age 8 starring as Cosette in “Les Miserables” to other roles on stage and screen, including “Spring Awakening,” “Ragtime,” and “Fiddler on The Roof.
Tour dates kick off May 5 at Durham PAC in Durham, North Carolina, with other cities and markets including Nashville, Orlando, Anaheim, Washington, D.C., and Niagara Falls, Ontario.
“After spending the past few months at home with my family and celebrating the joy of becoming a mother of two, I’m so excited to get back on the stage and perform live,” Michele says in the announcement. “It will be an amazing night revisiting my time on Glee, singing songs from Funny Girl, and telling stories along the way.”
Exclusive Presale for Lea Michele newsletter subscribers begins Wednesday, March 12, at 10:00 a.m., with public onsale Friday, March 14.
Michele is represented by WME.
