Visitors number 1,000,000, and 1,000,001 at Co-op Live on March 10. They came to watch Teddy Swims perform at the UK’s newest and largest entertainment venue, and were greeted with a surprise package to celebrate the milestone.

Co-op Live welcomed the one-millionth visitor through its doors earlier this week, as they arrived for the first of two nights of Teddy Swims at the UK’s largest live entertainment arena.

The fan was one of 18,178 guests, who bought a ticket for that particular night, March 10, grossing $1,195,293 at the box office, according to the report submitted to Pollstar.

The one-millionth-visitor milestone arrived just shy of ten months since the venue’s inaugural performance – a concert by Manchester’s own Elbow on May 14, 2024.

To celebrate, the lucky fans received a surprise giveaway of a pair of complementary tickets to a future show, a £50 gift card courtesy of Ticketmaster, a signed Teddy Swims poster, Co-op Backstage Club upgrades, and £40 to spend in a local Co-op courtesy of the building’s naming rights partner.

It’s been “a huge first year of content for the Manchester venue,” according to a press release, topped towards the end of 2024 with the first visit to the city of the MTV EMA, as well as a pair of triumphant performances by Paul McCartney.

The legendary Beatle performed at Co-op Live, Dec. 14-15, to a sold-out crowd of 30,832 fans, grossing $5,496,485 in ticket sales, according to the box office reports submitted to Pollstar.

2025 has so far seen the likes of Snow Patrol and Trivium remark on the venue’s innovative design and acoustics, joining acclaim from Liam Gallagher, Don Henley and more.

Snow Patrol performed at Co-op Live on Feb. 22, selling 17,413 tickets at a $1,353,248 gross. Trivium co-headlined with Bullet For My Valentine on Jan. 30 – both acts are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their respective debut albums this year – in front of 13,857 fans ($706,734 gross), according to the box office report submitted to Pollstar.

The one millionth fan comes as the venue prepares to host Sabrina Carpenter, March 13-14, and the second Teddy Swims performance on Sunday, March 16, launching into a summer of entertainment led by multi-night runs by Bruce Springsteen, Billie Eilish, and Tyler The Creator, as well as a UK arena exclusive appearance by Burna Boy.

Co-op Live is owned and operated by OVG, Pollstar’s parent company.
