Brooklyn Mirage Unveils New Renovation Plans

New York-based promotion company Avant Gardner is celebrating 10 years of its famed venue, The Brooklyn Mirage, located in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, with a full new build. The open-air venue will reopen on May 1 with a fully kinetic shutter system to open and close a 270-degree LED screen with 30k resolution and 100 million pixels. Over 100 speakers and subwoofers will be placed throughout the venue.
The new design is built in partnership with design studios Hard Feelings and Studio Greenbank.
โThe Brooklyn Mirage has always been a place to dance, to lose oneself in moments of pure, electrifying energy,โ Avant Gardner CEO Josh Wyatt said in a statement. โWhen we decided to rebuild the venue from the ground up, we aimed to honor its legacy while expanding the dance floor, creating immersive side-quest spaces, and pushing the boundaries of music, art and technology. This is not just an upgrade โ itโs a rebirth. The New Mirage will be everything fans worldwide love about this space โ while delivering a completely new, mind-blowing sensory experience. New York City deserves a venue that evolves with the culture, and thatโs exactly what weโre creating.โ
Along with the new stage build, the venue is adding more signage and rideshare drop-off zones to improve guest navigation. Artists will also be invited to showcase their works on-site at the venue.
The 2025 season has already announced shows from Sara Landry, Alesso, Peggy Gou, Anjunadeep, Sammy Virji, Subtronics, Nora En Pure and more.
