SAGE ADVICE | “Work harder than anyone else, learn how to prioritize, don’t take things personally, make yourself indispensable and lead with positivity, honesty and kindness.”

There aren’t many people who accomplished what Olivia Rodrigo did in 2024. The global superstar made the jump to global arena headliner in 2024 with her “GUTS World Tour” and sold out every concert, including four nights at The O2 in London, which grossed a whopping $8.34 million, as reported to Pollstar.
It’s been quite the meteoric rise for the 22-year-old, leading a new generation of female artists (along with Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan), and Aleen Keshishian has helped Rodrigo every step of the way since February 2022.
As founder and CEO of Lighthouse Management + Media, she has been instrumental behind the scenes of the entertainment industry and managed stars like Selena Gomez and Jennifer Aniston, also serving as an executive producer in music documentaries like “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry.” A modest Keshishian downplayed the accomplishments, saying, “Female artists have huge breakout years every year!”
The influential entertainment exec is coming off a banner year with Gomez starring in Oscar award-winning film “Emilia Pérez” and Rodrigo slaying the global touring circuit.
“We mounted Olivia Rodrigo’s 95-date sold out ‘GUTS World Tour,’ which culminated in a show for charity at the world’s largest indoor arena in the Philippines,” Keshishian said. “I’m also excited for Selena Gomez to be releasing new music after focusing on her award-winning acting projects and Rare Beauty for the last few years.”
Rodrigo averaged nearly $2.6 million per show in 2024, ranking among the top of Pollstar’s Top 200 Worldwide Touring Artists chart, and she’s not done. The singer will headline over a dozen festivals, including three Lollapaloozas in South America and New York’s Governors Ball, and continue her “GUTS World Tour” in Latin America and the UK, including two shows at Manchester’s Co-op Live.
How can women like her ascend to such heights? Keshishian has some advice for any woman trying to make it in the live industry. “Work harder than anyone else, learn how to prioritize, don’t take things personally, make yourself indispensable and lead with positivity, honesty and kindness.”
