Mariah Carey Announces Asia Dates For ‘Celebration Of Mimi’

Mariah Carey will take the 20th anniversary celebration of her album The Emancipation of Mimi to Asia this summer with a run of dates this spring and fall.
“The Celebration of Mimi” tour’s Asia leg begins with two shows in Shanghai, China, May 16-17. She returns to Asia in October with shows in Bangkok Oct. 11, Manila Oct. 14 and Kobe, Japan, Oct. 28. The announced dates end with two shows in Yokohama, Japan, Nov. 1 and 2.
On her social media, Carey said “more dates to be announced soon.”
The anniversary of Mimi has been marked with a residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas which wrapped in February. Meanwhile, Carey embarked on her now-standard holiday tour which concluded Dec. 17 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn with a 13,462-ticket sellout, grossing $1,649,118, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
Carey is also slated for a show at the Royal Sandringham Estate in England in August.
Carey is repped by CAA’s Rob Light and managed by Maroon Entertainment’s Michael Richardson.
