FKA Twigs Postpones North American Dates Due To Visa Problems

FKA Twigs performances in New York, Chicago and Toronto are being postponed after the singer’s production team apparently failed to complete the proper visa paperwork.

She said the production on the “Eusexua” tour has been a heavy lift during the tour’s European leg and that mistakes were made during the visa application process.

“Behind the scenes practically, it has been challenging with production and just the more practical sides of putting this tour together,” she said. “So today I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform. So that means that by no choice of my own, I will have to pull out of my New York, Chicago and Toronto shows.”

She was slated to perform at Chicago’s Salt Shed March 26-27, Toronto’s History March 30-31 and the Knockdown Center in Queens April 3.

She’ll now play the Salt Shed June 24 and 25 and Knockdown Center April 24 and 25, which will come after a scheduled appearance at Coachella. The new dates for Toronto are yet to be announced.
