Insomniac & Tomorrowland Bring ‘UNITY’ To Sphere Las Vegas

The people behind Insomniac in the U.S., and Tomorrowland in Belgium are joining forces to debut a “groundbreaking audiovisual spectacle” called UNITY at Sphere in Las Vegas on Labor Day weekend, Aug. 29- 31.
If one is familiar with the type of events both Insomniac and Tomorrowland have built a reputation for, it’s not hard to imagine what such a meeting of the minds can create at the technological marvel that is Sphere.
Insomniac was founded by Pasquale Rotella – a two-time Pollstar Impact 50 honoree – 31 years ago, and today produces 10,000 concerts, club nights and festivals for seven million attendees annually across the globe, by its own admission.

The company’s premier annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the world’s largest dance music festival and attracts more than 525,000 fans over three days.
The company and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993. In 2013, Insomniac entered into a partnership with global entertainment company Live Nation.
Tomorrowland is one of the world’s most iconic music festivals, held each summer in Belgium. Since its debut in 2005, Tomorrowland has grown into a global phenomenon, bringing together 400,000 peoplefrom over 200 countries across two weekends.
Tomorrowland has held events in Itu, São Paulo, or Tomorrowland Winter in Alpe d’Huez, France. Its popular CORE stage, which launched in the enchanting forests on the festival site in 2017, travels around the world as a festival concept, bringing the Tomorrowland experience to destinations like Tulum in Mexico or Medellín in Colombia.
UNITY at Sphere marks the first collaboration of Insomniac and Tomorrowland, and fans will recognize familiar realms, including Tomorrowland’s Planaxis, Adscendo, and Orbyz, and Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland, Escape Halloween, and Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) – all fused into a spectacle that speaks to all the senses.
A Tomorrowland press release promises “a new dimension of music and storytelling via state-of-the-art technology from the world’s most advanced entertainment venue.”
The music during the show was meticulously curated to bridge “dance music’s rich history with powerful new orchestra compositions and accompaniments, blending timeless anthems with cinematic arrangements to create an unparalleled auditory experience bringing this journey to life,” according to the press release, which continues “each show will build to a breathtaking crescendo, featuring surprise special guest DJ performances during the captivating finale.”
The name UNITY was chosen to signify, that “music is our universal language, the dance floor our sanctuary, and every one of you, our family,” according to an open letter published on unityxsphere.com, where presale tickets will go on sale, Sunday, March 31, at 10 a.m. PT. The general onsale begins April 7.
The GA floor price is $269, reserved seating costs $99, VIP and Premium Suite Packages are available. Hotel Packages hosted by Vibee, including a ticket, starting at $569 go on sale tomorrow, March 27.
Both Insomniac and Tomorrowland have stated that UNITY was only the first in a series of future collaborations.
