Singer, actor and entrepreneur mgk, formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, signed with WME for global representation in all areas, the agency announced Wednesday.

The genre-bending star, whose real name is Colson Baker, has released six studio albums since 2012. mgk’s most recent effort, 2022’s Mainstream Sellout, earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album, and the global tour supporting that LP was a success with nearly every show sold out.

The “Mainstream Sellout Tour” ranked No. 50 on Pollstar’s 2022 Year-End Top 200 Worldwide Tours with grosses totaling $39.8 million, including a stadium concert at Cleveland’s FirstEnergy Stadium (now called Huntington Bank Field) that had a $3.1 million haul, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.

The multiplatinum rapper and rock singer has amassed more than 13.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and his music has surpassed 20 billion streams globally.

In addition to selling out arenas and stadiums and performing in major festivals, mgk has appeared in notable films like the 2014 romantic drama “Beyond the Lights” and Netflix’s post-apocalyptic movie “Bird Box” (2018). He co-wrote and starred in 2022’s “Taurus” and also produced and co-directed the comedy “Good Mourning” that same year.

mgk is also influential in fashion and business, partnering with Dolce & Gabbana in 2022 and establishing businesses like the pop-punk inspired shop 27 Club Coffee, the vegan and cruelty-free nail polish brand UN/DN LAQR and Floor 13, his production company.

The artist was previously repped by United Talent Agency before his move to WME, and Steve Astephen, Ashleigh Veverka and Andre Cisco will continue to serve as managers.
