Ella Langley, Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson Lead ACM Awards Nominations

The list of Academy of Country Music Awards nominations was unveiled today, and first-time nominee Ella Langley led all artists with eight nods, including Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.
Cody Johnson and Morgan Wallen lead all male artists with seven nominations, and Lainey Wilson earned six nods.
Johnson, who is a consistent force in the touring industry, is nominated in major categories such as Entertainer of the Year and Song of the Year for “Dirt Cheap.” The seven nominations are the most the Texas-born artist has ever received in one year.
With stadium shows sold out across the country in 2024, Morgan Wallen is nominated for a third consecutive year for Entertainer of the Year. His successful collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help,” earned him four nominations, including a songwriting nod.
Lainey Wilson is nominated in six separate categories, including her first nomination for Artist-Songwriter of the Year. She is nominated in the Song of the Year category for a fourth consecutive year and is up for the major Entertainer of the Year award.
This year’s ACM Awards show is the 60th edition, and the ceremony will be hosted by 16-time winner Reba McEntire. The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, will host the monumental anniversary show on May 8 celebrating six decades of country music, and it will stream live exclusively on Prime Video at 8 p.m. EDT. Performers include previous ACM Award winners Blake Shelton, Eric Church and Wilson.
A limited number of tickets to the awards ceremony are available via SeatGeek.
Megastar Luke Combs is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, and a victory in that category along with previous wins in the New Artist and Artist of the Year categories would make him a Triple Crown Award winner and join artists like Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean.
Breakout singer Shaboozey received his first ACM Award nominations, including a nod in the New Male Artist category. His record-setting hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is nominated for Single of the Year.
Chris Stapleton received six nominations, including one in the Male Artist of the Year category, and Old Dominion earned their 10th consecutive Group of the Year nod.
The ACM also honors those working behind the scenes with its Studio Recording Awards and Industry Awards. Those awards will be presented at the 18th Academy of Country Music Honors special event held annually in August in Nashville. More details of that ceremony will be announced in the coming months.
The nominations list for Promoter of the Year included Brent Fedrizzi (AEG Presents), Alex Maxwell (Live Nation), Patrick McDill (Live Nation), Anna-Sophie Mertens (Live Nation), Rich Schaefer (AEG Presents) and Aaron Spalding (Live Nation).
The ACM also highlights the top talent buyers in the business. Those earning a nod in the Don Romeo Talent Buyer of the Year category include Deana Baker (Choctaw Casinos & Resorts), Bobby Clay (C3), Gil Cunningham (Neste Live!), Weston Hebert (AEG Presents), Stacy Vee (Goldenvoice) and Taylor Williamson (Romeo Entertainment Group).
