Ashley Monroe is celebrating the 10 year anniversary of her critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated album The Blade with a special performance at Nashville’s The Basement East on July 25.

During the show the country singer will perform the 2015 album, which marked her third full-length release, in its entirety.

The Blade was produced by Vince Gill and Justin Niebank and featured songs co-written by Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Jessi Alexander and Luke Laird, along with featured background vocals from Alison Krauss, Dan Tyminski, Paul Franklin and Charlie Worsham.

Praise for The Blade included Rolling Stone praising Monroe for finding “a way to make country tradition feel new again” and The Atlantic describing the LP as “a confident layering of whiskey-soaked angst and lyrical contentment.” The Blade was nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Album.

“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since I recorded and released The Blade with one of my heroes, Vince Gill,” Monroe said in a statement. “I always come back to singing these songs, and can’t wait to sing the record again top to bottom.”

Fans can sign up for an artist presale that starts April 2 at 9 a.m. at ashleymonroe.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 4 at 9 a.m. CT.

Monroe’s tour dates are booked by Wasserman Music’s Jonathan Levine and Olly Hodgson. She is managed by Amanda Quinton of Quinton Digital.

Ahead of the release of The Blade, Monroe was featured on the cover of Pollstar in 2014. Check out an interview with Monroe at the link below.
