Billy Corgan’s New Solo Project To Mark Pumpkins’ Album Anniversaries With North American Tour

Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan will hit the road this summer with his new solo project The Machines Of God to commemorate milestone anniversaries for Pumpkins’ albums Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness and the Machina albums, along with 2024’s Aghora Mhori Mei.
The Live Nation-produced “A Return to Zero” tour will feature a four-piece line-up with two guitars, reminiscent of the classic Pumpkins’ set-up. Joining Corgan are guitarist Kiki Wong (who toured as the Pumpkins guitarist last year), drummer Jake Hayden and bassist Kid Tigrrr (Jenn Fournier) to mark Mellon Collie‘s 30th anniversary and Machina‘s 25th.
The theater tour begins June 7 at Baltimore Soundstage and includes stops at HISTORY in Toronto, Irving Plaza in New York, Bogart’s in Cincinnati and more, in addition to previously announced festival plays.
Artist presale begins at 10 a.m. local April 1 with general onsale 10 a.m. April 4.
Last year, the Pumpkins toured on Green Day’s smash “The Saviors” tour and interpolated that with their own headlining amphitheater stops, as detailed in a Q&A with Corgan. The band followed up with a Latin American run which included $452,297 gross on 6,409 tickets at Bogota, Colombia’s Movistar Arena Nov. 14, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
Corgan is repped by IAG.
