Co-op Live Announces Sustainability-Driven Partnership With OVO

Co-op Live Manchester announced a new partnership with OVO, a leading UK energy provider.

“This collaboration strengthens Co-op Live’s commitment to sustainability while enhancing the experience for music fans and OVO customers alike,” according to the press release announcing the partnership, which continues, “OVO’s mission to make energy better for people and the planet aligns seamlessly with Co-op Live’s commitment to setting a new, greener standard for live entertainment venues.”

As part of the partnership, OVO customers will gain exclusive access to tickets for shows at Co-op Live, dedicated entrances, lounges, and regular competitions.

The rewards program is called OVO Live, and the partnership with Co-op Live helps the energy supplier roll out its “For the Atmosphere” campaign “celebrating and amplifying live music atmospheres whilst also inspiring and rewarding greener actions, driving further awareness and engagement in consumer decarbonisation,” according to the press release.

OVO, founded in 2009, counts some four million customers across the UK. The energy supplier aims to achieve true net zero by 2035. OVO also supports renewable power projects, and helps customers transition to clean energy.

Co-op Live has been prioritizing environmental responsibility right from the outset, including during construction. The partnership with OVO is another step that direction.

Dedicated seats within the OVO Lounge at Co-op Live will offer guests an exclusive space overlooking the arena bowl.
