Gojira Signs With Independent Artist Group (Exclusive)

Gojira has signed with Independent Artist Group (IAG), the agency announced April 9. The Grammy award-winning heavy metal band will be booked by agent Nick Storch.

The French four-piece band features brothers Joe (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Mario Duplantier (drums), along with guitarist Christian Andreu and bassist Jean-Michel Labadie.

In February Gojira received its first Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for “Mea Culpa (Ah! Ça ira!,” following two nominations in the category and a nod for Best Rock Album.

The group debuted the song, featuring Marina Viotti and Victor Le Masne, during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics.

Gojira’s most recent full-length album, 2021’s Fortitude, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart and No. 1 on the Top Current Album Sales Chart. The LP also hit No. 12 on the Billboard 200.

In fall 2024 Gojira hit the road with Korn on a 25-date tour of North America that also featured Spiritbox. Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice include an Oct. 27 show at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota, that sold 13,472 tickets and grossed $910,314.

Gojira was previously booked in North America by Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. and the K2 Agency in the rest of the world.

The band’s upcoming tour schedule includes festival appearances such as Wacken Open Air in Germany and Aftershock in Sacramento, California.
