UTA Hires Zach Iser & Caroline Yim As Partners & Agents

Zach Iser and Caroline Yim have joined UTA as partners and agents in the music department, the agency announced Tuesday. Today’s announcement notes that they “will bring with them a proven track record in representing the biggest names in Hip-Hop and R&B.”
Iser and Yim previously served as partners and co-heads of hip-hop/R&B at WME. And before that, the duo was at CAA.
“We’ve long admired the way Zach and Caroline discover, nurture, and build the careers of artists,” UTA’s David Kramer said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to welcome them to UTA and have our clients benefit from their command of the hip-hop and R&B arena. We will continue to invest in music and remain focused on providing our artists with the absolute best pathway to thrive.”
The announcement from UTA did not include which clients will be making the move with Iser and Yim. The pair have previously worked with SZA, Anderson .Paak, Kehlani, Rae Sremmurd, Schoolboy Q and others. They’ve also worked with Migos, Future and Lil Yachty.
Iser, who is based in Miami, has been recognized with a number of honors including being featured on Billboard’s “40 Under 40” and “Hip-Hop/R&B Power Players,” Variety’s “New Leaders” and The Hollywood Reporter’s “35 Under 35.”
Yim, who is based in Los Angeles, has been featured on Pollstar’s Women of Live list, as well as Billboard’s “Women in Music” and “Hip-Hop Power Players” and Variety’s “New Leaders.” Outside of her day job, she serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters LA and co-founded the Asian American Collective, a community organization that fosters growth, education, and connection for current and future Asian American creatives.
Today’s announcement notes that UTA’s expansion strategy has included diversification through several acquisitions and international moves such as acquiring ROOF football (currently part of KLUTCH Sports) in 2024 and opening new offices in London in 2023.
