Newport Jazz Festival Announces Talent And Offers Discounted Three-Day Ticket For 24 Hours

The Newport Jazz Festival returns to Fort Adams State Park in Rhode Island for the cultural institution’s 71st edition Aug. 1-3 with a just announced lineup of genre-bending, award-winning, generational talent.
Tickets for the legacy gathering go on sale April 17 at 1:00 PM/ET, but for a limited time, a three-day ticket is currently available for $265.74 with a limited three-day student (ages 10-25) ticket for $188.49. The limited tickets are only available until the regular sale begins.
One of the longest and most storied festivals in the country, fans and artists alike return each year to experience the festival’s tradition of diversity, discovery and artistic virtuosity. Newport Jazz Festival is produced by the Newport Festival Foundation in collaboration with Newport Jazz Artistic Director Christian McBride.
The 2025 lineup includes Janelle Monáe, The Roots and Jacob Collier. British vocalists RAYE and Jorja Smith will make their Newport Jazz debuts. The festival will also feature jazz greats Esperanza Spalding, Dianne Reeves and The Yussef Dayes Experience, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and an all-star, Big Band set assembled by AD McBride.
This year Newport Jazz will once again offer a limited Jazz Lounge Festival admission ticket ($1,488.35) with access to a separate entrance, premium parking and access to the tented lounge with private amenities. The Jazz Lounge ticket is in addition to three-day and single day general admission tickets and student tickets. For student tickets (ages 10-25) current college students are required to show a college photo ID. Children nine and under are free except for Jazz Lounge Tickets. Only two children are allowed per ticketed adult.
