Manage This! Hires Jo Lenardi, Signs Weird Nightmare

Jo Lenardi has joined the management team at Manage This!, with the company confirming it will be working with Sub Pop band Weird Nightmare.

Lenardi was formerly a long time employee at Warner Bros. Her resume also includes time at Reprise Records in many roles including Senior Vice President of A&R. She also launched her own Flea Marketing and worked at Seattle’s Barsuk Records. She is based in the state of Maine.

Weird Nightmare features singer / guitarist Alex Edkins, formerly of Metz. An announcement sent to Pollstar from Manage This! notes that Metz, who played their final tour in 2024, will be performing on “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney” on Netflix on April 23.   

“We’re thrilled to have Josephine join our team, and blown away by the forthcoming Weird Nightmare album!” Manage This! general manager David Newgarden said in a statement. 

Manage This! is based in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. The company’s clients include Guided By Voices, Laura Gibson, Sean Ono Lennon Dirty Projectors, Kiwi Jr, and Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band.
