On The Carpet: Pollstar Awards Winners Photo Gallery
At the 2025 Pollstar Awards, winners celebrated backstage with their trophies and said a few words about what winning means to them. From Louis Messina and Barrie Marshall winning Hall of Fame awards to Wasserman Music snagging Booking Agency of the Year for the second year in a row, see what this year’s winners had to say!

“We’re grateful to be part of an independent music community. And we’re grateful for the honor from our peers,” Riley told Pollstar.

“I love the industry,” said Louis Messina, who was inducted into Pollstar’s Hall Of Fame. “I love what I do. I still have the passion I had when I was seven years old and saw Elvis, so I appreciate all my friends in the industry and the artists. It’s just magical, it really is magic.” (Photo by Jon Kopaloff/Getty Images for Pollstar)

“This is a theater in its first year, but it’s a historic theater that means a lot to Brooklyn,” Cannon told Pollstar. “And to revive it and win this award with so many esteemed rooms that we idolize is unbelievable and completely unexpected.”

“In general, I’m so fortunate to work with so many great artists,” Grohl told Pollstar. “I feel that I’m really getting recognized because of them. I appreciate getting recognized by peers in the business, and I can’t imagine any better way to win something.”

“We want to try and take Spanish speaking music to as many places around the world as we can,” Jbeau Lewis said. “This was just an example of how to do it in the USA.”

“I think the building is special in that it has a real focus on fans who are coming to enjoy the music and making sure they got to see what they paid to see,” Gillian Zucker, winner of the New Concert Venue of the Year (North America) Award, told Pollstar. “So, frictionless concessions, which allows them to get in and out quickly, access a bar, creating no lines, lots of restrooms in the building. Then running power at all the seats enabled us to integrate PixMob into our seating. It’s a pretty special venue for music. I think it feels magical. And I believe those are some of the things that helped us get this little baby right here.” (Photo by Jon Kopaloff/Getty Images for Pollstar)

“It’s a great privilege,” Barrie Marshall told Pollstar of being inducted into the Live Hall of Fame. “I’m overwhelmed by it, to be honest with you. There’s so many other people that deserve this. Obviously all of the Marshall Arts team, who are not here. Our relationships with managers and the artists we’ve worked with over the years, the production managers, all the people that make things work. Respect is key to me. Everybody’s different, and that’s what’s so important. When you go to shows and produce and promote them, you meet the team, and that’s when you become part of it.” (Photo by Jon Kopaloff/Getty Images for Pollstar)
