This year’s Pollstar Awards was a star-studded event featuring appearances by Stevie Nicks, John Mayer, Bob Weir, Eddie Vedder, Jelly Roll, Missy Elliott, Kevin Cronin and more. See some highlights from the show below!
The 36th annual Pollstar Awards was a celebration of the past and present, with legends like Stevie Nicks, Barrie Marshall, Louis Messina and Gary Kurfirst being recognized along with more contemporary artists as Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Bad Buynny and Chappell Roan, who last year rapidly ascended to superstardom and took home two awards during the ceremony. The star-filled night at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angele also featured appearances from an array of top artists, including Missy Elliott, Jelly Roll, Eddie Vedder, Bob Weir, John Mayer, The Strokes’ Albert Hammond, Jr. and Ryan Ray and Rusty Anderson of Sir Paul McCartney’s band.
Stevie Nicks was inducted into Pollstar’s 2025 Live Hall of Fame for her tremendous career both as a member of Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist. She surprised the audience by announcing she’s working on a new album.
“I’m actually making a record right now,” she said during her acceptance speech. “I call it the ghost record because it just kind of happened in the last couple of weeks… I have seven songs and they are autobiographical. Real stories where I’m not pulling any punches for probably the first time in my life. They’re not airy-fairy songs that you’re wondering who they’re about, but you really don’t get it. They are real stories, memories of mine, of fantastic men.”
According to Pollstar Boxoffice Reports, Nicks has averaged 10,200 tickets and $1.2 million gross per show. Her career gross, listed at $320 million, is much higher with her Boxoffice reports only dating back to 2001. If you add in Fleetwood Mac’s Boxoffice total of $600 million and her solo career launched in 1981 she easily crosses the $1 billion mark.
Jimmy Iovine, famed music mogul who is the co-founder of Interscope Records, stands with Stevie Nicks. Iovine inducted Nicks into the Pollstar Live 2025 Hall of Fame.
He and Nicks once dated, and he is one of the men referenced in her upcoming album. Nicks’ album also referrences Prince.

Thank you all so much. Three years ago I played the Troubadour, I just did 60 arenas across America. We did five shows a week, old school fucking rock ‘n’ roll style. I want to thank my manager, John Meneilly, he’s a wizard.”
