Passion Pit To Play 8-Show Residency At New York’s Deluxx Fluxx

The Bowery Presents announced that Passion Pit will return to New York City for an intimate eight-show residency at the Deluxx Fluxx, which is located in the former basement of Webster Hall.
The solo project of singer-songwriter-producer Michael Angelakos kicks off its run at the 375-capacity venue on April 29 and follows that up with a show on the 30th. The remaining concerts take place May 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21.
Passion Pit will perform iconic indie alternative hits like “Take a Walk” and “Sleepyhead” as well as new music from its latest album, Nine Times Your Torch Song, which will be released in phases through unique recordings of live performances. The band hailing from Cambridge, Massachusetts, broke onto the scene with 2009’s Manners and have released a total of four studio albums, the last being Tremendous Sea of Love in 2017. They have garnered more than 2.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Passion Pit played New York shows at Warsaw and Irving Plaza last year as well as two concerts at Vic Theatre in Chicago. The sold-out two-night stand in Chicago last May grossed $107,990 off 2,910 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
