Silas Short Announces Five-Stop Short Tour

In 2021, Silas Short packed up his car and left Chicago after a defining loss inspired him to take a leap in search of new possibilities. Physically, he moved to Los Angeles; spiritually and emotionally, he journeyed to a place called Lushland – an imagined refuge where he confronts his emotions.
Now Short is releasing his debut album Lushland and launching the Short Tour in the city that provided the inspiration.
“When my world changed before the move, I desperately needed that sense of confidence back,” said Short in a release. “The culture shock of L.A. alone was enough to inspire a record but ultimately being here I really felt like I had something to prove.”
Collaborators who helped execute his vision include neo-soul legend James Poyser of The Roots and Soulquarians (Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, Ms. Lauryn Hill), Luke Titus and Peanut Butter Wolf.
Short added that the project is a “bird’s-eye view of many complicated emotions.”
