Shelter Music Group Expands Roster With 5 Signings, Including Cheap Trick, Boys Like Girls

Artist management company Shelter Music Group bolstered its roster by signing five rock acts. The company, founded in 2019, announced today that they will be managing Cheap Trick, Boys Like Girls, Chiodos, American Hi-Fi and Dead Poet Society.
Led by CEO Carl Stubner, COO/CSO Brian Harris Frank and President Dino Paredes, Shelter Music Group now manages over 75 acts with a team of 17 managers. The company’s extensive and diverse roster includes Fleetwood Mac, Creed and lead singer Scott Stapp, ZZ Top, Godsmack, Joe Perry, Dance Gavin Dance, Barenaked Ladies and Sugar Ray.
“At Shelter, I’m intensely focused on the growth of our community of artists and also focused on our managers to help them develop their craft and vision,” Stubner said in a statement.
Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick are an influential rock band with hits like “Surrender,” “I Want You To Want Me” and “The Flame.” They are touring this year with Heart and Rod Stewart, and the band plans to return to Japan and Budokan, where they recorded their iconic Live at Budokan album. Dino Paredes and Corey Wagner will serve as their managers.
Brian Harris Frank will be managing Boys Like Girls, who will be supporting the Jonas Brothers’ stadium and arena tour later this year.
Chiodos is currently on a sold-out tour promoting the 20th anniversary of All’s Well That Ends Well. The post-hardcore act has another tour planned for the fall and festival appearances to support a re-recorded and remixed version of All’s Well That Ends Well, and a new album is scheduled to be released in 2026. Derek Brewer will managed the band.
Alison Taylor is managing American Hi-Fi, whose self-titled debut album will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026.
Dead Poet Society is touring Europe and the United Kingdom this summer and the U.S. to support Chevelle. The band is also working on a follow-up to their breakthrough album Fission. The rock quartet is managed by Paredes and Ryan Quigley.
