The Weeknd Signs With WME

Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, has returned to WME, where he will be represented in all areas, the agency has shared with Pollstar. The agency also represents Tesfaye’s film production company, Manic Phase.
The Weeknd recently released his sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, in January and is preparing to set out on his upcoming “After Hours Til Dawn” North America tour in May. CAA clarified they’re still the agency currently for touring.
Hailed by Time Magazine as one of the most influential people of 2020 and claiming the No. 1 most-streamed song of all time on Spotify with “Blinding Lights,” The Weeknd is also a true force on the road, bringing large-scale stadium production to all corners of the globe. His 2023 touring grossed $221 million as reported to Pollstar, with the “After Hours Til Dawn” tour continuing into Europe, South America and Australia into 2025, which will see major North American stadium plays including multiple nights at NFL venues including SoFi Stadium (four nights) in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium (three nights) in New Jersey.
His touring theatrics are on top of major standalone shows such as the 2021 Super Bowl halftime show and major festival performances like Coachella and Lollapalooza.
The artist comes to WME from CAA, who signed the artist in 2021 while he was at WME.
