Singer-songwriter Julien Baker is canceling her summer tour with Torres to prioritize “her well-being” and “focus on her health,” according to a statement posted on social media May 4.

Baker and Torres released a country project Send A Prayer My Way last month and a summer tour in support of that album. Prior to Sunday’s statement, the pair had hinted that more dates for that tour would be announced this week.

“Due to recent events, Julien Baker is prioritizing her well-being and taking time to focus on her health. Therefore, the Julien Baker & TORRES ‘Send A Prayer My Way’ Tour has been canceled. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the disappointment this may cause for fans. We deeply appreciate your understanding,” the statement reads in part.

Refunds are being provided at the point of purchase.

Two earlier stops on the tour — at Ohio University in Athens and at Knoxville, Tennessee’s Big Ears Festival — were canceled in March due to a concussion sustained by an undisclosed band member.

Though the headline tour dates — which were announced through mid-May — some of the duo’s festival stops later in the summer remain listed on Baker’s website.
