Bumbershoot Announces Lineup With Weezer, Car Seat Headrest, Bright Eyes & More

Bumbershoot returns to Seattle Center this Labor Day weekend on Aug. 30 and 31, with this year’s lineup featuring Weezer, Car Seat Headrest, Bright Eyes, Aurora, Janelle Monáe, Sylvan Esso and more.
Bumbershoot will also celebrate the third year of its Workforce Development Program, BumberWorks, a partnership with their non-profit arm, Third Stone. BumberWorks offers paid training and hands-on experience in live music for people aged 17 to 25.
“Since graduating from the workforce development program, I have found a home at The Crocodile doing production,” Lauren Andrade, who attended the program in 2023, said in a statement. “This opportunity wouldn’t have been a possibility if I didn’t have the program. Through networking with all the different industry folks I met along the way, I am able to freelance around the city working for festivals, venues and local bands.”
This year marks the first time Pacific Northwest-based independent producers New Rising Sun and Daydream State combine forces for a joint ticket promotion to Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival (promoted by new Rising Sun) and Capitol Hill Block Party (promoted by Daydream State). Fans can purchase a combined “Big Gulp” ticket starting May 9 for $340. Capitol Hill Block Party is aged 21+, while Bumbershoot is all ages, so fans must be over the age of 21 to purchase.
Two-day passes are on sale now for $199. Single-day tickets will be available for $125, and weekend passes will increase to $225. Bumbershoot is also offering a Crew Pack, including four weekend passes for $800 total. Prices do not include taxes and fees.
