idobi Radio Summer School Tour Partners With Save The Music Foundation

The second edition of the idobi Radio Summer School Tour will give back to help the next generation by once again partnering with Save The Music Foundation. The tour is donating 50 cents from every ticket sold to the organization dedicated to helping “students, schools, and communities reach their full potential through the power of making music.”
The idobi Radio Summer School Tour was founded by Eric Tobin (Hopeless Records) Michael Kaminsky (KMGMT), and Kevin Lyman (Vans Warped Tour) with a focus on artist development, community, ticket affordability, and social impact. As previously announced in early April, the 2025 lineup features seven independent artists and bands on the rise, including Taylor Acorn, Charlotte Sands, Rain City Drive, If Not For Me, Beauty School Dropout, Arrows in Action, and Huddy.
“Summer School is honored to work with Save The Music Foundation for the second consecutive year,” Tobin and Kaminsky said in a joint statement. “Their mission to help students, schools, and communities reach their full potential through the power of making music is so near and dear to our hearts; and now, more than ever, we want to see all kids have access to music as they grow up!”
Since Save The Music was founded in 1997 the organization has donated over $75 million worth of instruments, equipment and technology to over 2,800 schools across hundreds of school districts.
“We’re excited to partner with the idobi Radio Summer School Tour again to champion the next generation of music-makers,” said Henry Donahue, Executive Director of Save The Music. “This partnership hits at the heart of our mission—connecting the power of indie and punk rock to the impact of music education in classrooms. With every ticket, fans are supporting both the emerging talent on stage and young musicians in schools across the country.”
The 2025 Summer School trek, which is sponsored by idobi Radio and Hot Topic, has lined up more than 20 shows across the U.S., starting July 11 at The Fillmore Detroit. Cities on the routing include Chicago, Cleveland, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Sacramento, Dallas, Nashville and Pittsburgh. Of note is the tour’s July 26 stop in partnership with Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, California, where all seven Summer School bands will take the stage at the 30th anniversary relaunch of the beloved festival.
