Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross Unveil Inaugural Future Ruins Festival

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross announced their inaugural Future Ruins festival, promoted by Live Nation, which will take place at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center on Nov. 8. The lineup features a day-long event with influential film and television composers performing on stage, including Danny Elfman, John Carpenter, Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein, Questlove, Tamar-Kali and more.
“It’s about giving people who are, literally, the best in the world at taking audiences on an emotional ride via music the opportunity to tell new stories in an interesting live setting,” Reznor said in a statement.
The festival will feature three stages, with Reznor and Ross emphasizing each act is a headliner. View the full lineup below.
“There’s no headliner. There’s no hierarchy,” Reznor and Ross said in a joint statement. “This is a stacked lineup of visionaries doing something you might not see again.”
In addition to their work scoring films, Reznor and Ross are setting out on Nine Inch Nails’ “Peel It Back” tour kicking off June 15 in Dublin. The pair will play arenas and festivals across Europe and North America, wrapping up with two nights at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on Sept. 18 and 19. Nine Inch Nails is booked by WME and managed by Sara Newkirk Management’s Sara Newkirk. With 237 headline performances reported to Pollstar’s Boxoffice dating back to 2000, Nine Inch Nails have sold 1.7 million tickets grossing $90.1 million.
