Coldplay Is Back At No. 1 On LIVE75 Following Final Asian Shows On ‘Spheres’ Tour

Coldplay is back on LIVE75 for the first time since January, debuting on the chart at No. 1 following the band’s return to the road with the “Music of the Spheres World Tour.” Four April performances in Hong Kong and six in South Korea moved over half-a-million tickets for an average of 50,228 sold seats per night to take the top ranking. With $67.4 million in revenue reported from both markets, the per-show gross average from the 10 concerts comes to $6.74 million.
In what should be the tour’s final trek through Asia, as it is scheduled to wrap in London with 10 nights at Wembley Stadium Aug. 22-Sep. 8 following a nine-city jaunt through North America this summer, the band kicked off the two-and-a-half-week run at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong. It was the first musical event ever at the new stadium that officially opened on March 1. It also marked the tour’s only stop in Hong Kong or any region in China since launching in March of 2022. With four shows there between April 8 and 12, the band sold 183,980 tickets and grossed $32.9 million.
The South Korean engagement at Goyang Stadium in the Seoul metropolitan area also marked the group’s only appearance in that country during the tour. The stadium hosted Coldplay for six concerts from April 16 through 25 and sold a total of 318,309 tickets. Cumulative grosses from the shows totaled $34.4 million.
Eight of the top 10 artists on LIVE75 make a debut appearance on the chart this week including Metallica at No. 2. The band ranks second with a ticket average of 45,873 from the first three sold-out shows this year on the “M72 World Tour” that just began its third year on the road on April 19. The concert that night at JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York, logged a ticket count of 45,652, and a two-show engagement, April 24 & 26, at Toronto’s Rogers Centre drew 91,968 attendees.
Post Malone follows at No. 3 on LIVE75 based on ticket sales at the first three venues booked on his “Big Ass Stadium Tour” that started on April 29 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. From the opening night performance and two subsequent shows at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and San Antonio’s Alamodome, he averaged 45,596 sold seats per concert.
Ranked No. 4 is Beyoncé with an average of 43,428 tickets from the five-show run at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California that kicked off her “Cowboy Carter Tour.” Her gross total of $55.7 million from those shows is the highest of any concert engagement worldwide in 2025, based on sales figures reported since Jan. 1. With an average gross of $11.14 million per show, she earns “Heavy Hitter” status as the artist with the highest gross average. It is also the only average on the chart that tops the $10 million threshold.
Rounding out the list of top 10 debuts on LIVE75 are Rüfüs Du Sol at No. 6 with a five-show ticket average of 17,069, followed by Katy Perry at No. 7, also based on tickets sold at five shows. Charli xcx is eighth with a four-show ticket average, and Gracie Abrams lands at No. 9 with a ticket average from five performances.
On the Artist Power Index, Lady Gaga moves up one position to grab the No. 1 ranking after scoring among the 10 highest ranked performers in three of the four eligibility metrics for the chart. She has the ninth highest Live rank of the week and ranks fifth in Streaming and third in Airplay. And her Social rank is the 13th highest.
Contributing to Gaga’s Live rank is a two-show appearance at Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros with a combined total of 117,174 tickets sold, April 26 and 27. Her historic free concert at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, also strengthens her Live score with its estimated attendance of 2.5 million on May 3. Both Latin American appearances were promotional events ahead of “The Mayhem Ball,” her upcoming world tour set to launch on July 16 in Las Vegas.
