Breakaway Signs WIth CAA For Representation

Independent music festival producer and entertainment brand Breakaway has signed with CAA for representation toward building internationally and expanding its intellectual property.
The company, headed by co-founders Adam Lynn and Zach Ruben, will work with CAA’s media and entertainment partnerships division and launch a new sponsorship platform, according to the announcement.
“Breakaway offers brands the chance to co-create something that lives beyond the stage, rooted in relevance and designed for lasting impact” said Adam Lynn, CEO of Breakaway. “We’re excited to make moves that position us at the intersection of music, content and community.”
The CAA announcement comes as Breakaway says it’s having its biggest year yet, with the popular Breakaway Festivals having a presence in 12 cities across the U.S, largely focused on hosting major talent from the dance and electronic music space.
The company recently announced the formation of its own label and management division, Breakaway Projects.
The next Breakaway Festival takes place May 30-31 at the Historic Crew Stadium grounds in the company’s home base of Columbus, Ohio, headlined by Dom Dolla, Sofi Tukker, Marshmello and Afriojack.
