Welcome to Rockville crossed the finish line with a record 230,000 fans May 15-18 at Daytona International Speedway – breaking the four-day festival’s previous track record of 200K in 2024 and setting back-to-back records with 58K fans on May 16 and 17.
With 150+ bands on five stages, 2025 marked the fifth time the festival was held in Daytona Beach, Florida, and the 14th year overall. Welcome to Rockville is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, which was founded by Wimmer who is a Florida native.
“To do it in my home state of Florida – and to see every artist give it their all – created an unforgettable experience for the Rockvillian community,” said Wimmer in a statement.
“We’ll be announcing 2026 dates soon and can’t wait to see you all next year to celebrate Welcome To Rockville’s 15th anniversary.”
Welcome To Rockville featured an impressive lineup of rock talent including mainstage headliners Shinedown with Rob Zombie and Three Days Grace, with a reunion with original vocalist Adam Gontier on Thursday; Green Day with Good Charlotte in their first East Coast performance since 2019 and Sublime on Friday; Linkin Park with Incubus and Pierce The Veil on Saturday; and KORN with Bad Omens and Marilyn Manson on Sunday. The lineup also featured Social Distortion, Knocked Loose, Halestorm, Mudvayne, I Prevail, Jimmy Eat World, Motionless In White and Beartooth.
Among the highlights, Florida natives Shinedown – who headlined Rockville for the first time – invited Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Johnny Van Zant and Rickey Medlocke to join for a performance of Skynyrd’s “Simple Man.” Linkin Park performed From Zero deluxe edition track “Let You Fade” live for the first time. And Green Day dominated Friday with a 20-song set for the Rockville debut.
In recognition of the festival’s home at the Daytona International Speedway, there were also surprise appearances from NASCAR Cup Series driver Daniel Suarez and Harley Davidson rider James Rispoli.
During the festival, fans around the globe could tune in live to hear interviews and live performances from various Welcome To Rockville artists on SiriusXM’s Rockville Radio takeover on Octane (Ch. 37). Festival highlights on Rockville Radio can be streamed on the SiriusXM app and web player through May 30.
