K-pop Icons BLACKPINK Add Asian Leg To Global Tour

K-pop megastars BLACKPINK finally unveiled the dates for the Asian leg of their “World Tour <Deadline>,” announcing shows in Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong.

The global icons will perform in Asia after playing stadium shows in the U.S., Canada, France, Milan, Spain and London. The Live Nation-promoted run in Asian markets kicks off with a two-night stand at Kaoshiung National Stadium on Oct. 18 and 19, followed by three nights at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok. BLACKPINK will then travel to Jakarta for two shows at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, to the Philippines for two nights at Philippine Arena and another two shows at Singapore’s National Stadium before wrapping up with back-to-back concerts at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on Jan. 24 and 25. Tickets will be available Tuesday, June 10, via a Weverse presale, and the Visa presale begins the next day. The general onsale begins June 12 at noon local time at livenation.asia. BLINK Membership holders can register for the Weverse presale now through June 1 to have their membership verified.

The quartet’s last global tour, “[BORN PINK]” in 2022 and 2023, was the highest-grossing tour by a girl group, with more than 1.8 million fans attending shows, including one at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas that grossed $11,429,130, off 44,171 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
