Aminé Announces North American/European Dates For Fall ‘Tour de Dance’

There’s lots of sun in the forecast, with dates announced for Aminé’s fall tour in support of his new album, 13 Months of Sunshine. The routing includes shows in North America and Europe, starting with the second edition of the rapper’s The Best Day Ever Festival in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, Sept. 13-14.
13 Months of Sunshine takes its name from a play on the Gregorian 13-month calendar followed by Aminé’s native Ethiopia and Eritrea, as well as a reference to tourist marketing campaigns in the 60’s and 70’s.
“They came up with this slogan to show people that there was so much more to Ethiopia than what is advertised,” Aminé said in a statement. “I related so heavily to it, because on this album, I am showing that there’s so much more than what everyone assumes about my music—myself included.”
Following The Best Day Ever Festival, the itinerary for the North American leg of the Live Nation-promoted tour includes gigs in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, New York, Philadelphia, D.C., Toronto, Montreal, Chicago and Detroit, among other cities. The last stop is Oct. 19 at The Fillmore Minneapolis.
The European routing starts Nov. 24 at Dublin, Ireland’s 3Olympia Theatre, with stops including Paris, Manchester, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Stockholm.
An artist pre-sale is ongoing now with access via https://aminemusic.com/. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, May 30 at 9 a.m. local time.
Aminé is managed by Mischief Management’s Justin Lehmann. His agents are Wasserman Music’s Brent Smith and Lauren Marker.
