Gibson Garage Fest Week celebrates the four-year anniversary of the Gibson Garage Nashville during the biggest week of the year for country music enthusiasts, CMA Fest in downtown Music City.

From June 4-9, Gibson Garage Nashville, the brand’s first flagship property, will host daily in-store concerts, special events and a music education donation ceremony for the nonprofit Free Guitars 4 Kids as well as the presentation June 9 of the Les Paul Foundation’s Les Paul Spirit Award to legendary guitarist Steve Miller. The private, ticketed event takes place on what would have been Les Paul’s 110th birthday.

Gibson Garage Fest Week highlights include “Back To Basics” on June 4 with Marty Schwartz, known across the internet as “Marty Music” with 4.6 million YouTube subscribers and more than two billion video views. Schwartz regularly teaches his “Back To Basics” guitar lessons free each month at the Nashville store.

June 5 features a full day of performances from LGBTQ+ Emerging Artist Award Winners, Gibson Generation Group (G3) performers and Gibson Spotlight artists. The Music Forward Foundation partnered with Gibson Gives Foundation, the company’s philanthropic division, to support the LGBTQ+ Emerging Artist Awards, an annual grant program that strives to break down the barriers of access for artists in the industry.

Nominated for ACM Best New Female Artists and GLAAD’s Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artists Award in 2022, style maverick Lily Rose performs on June 6 along with performances by 2025 Gibson Spotlight Artist AfroDiziac, multi-hyphenate Josh Radnor (actor, writer, director, songwriter) and A Thousand Horses, who recently wrapped a 52-date U.S. and European tour. The June 6 lineup concludes with multi-Platinum artist Brett Young and his West Coast-meets-Southern sound, which has been dubbed “Caliville.” Young released seven No. 1 singles making him one of four modern country artists to have their first seven singles reach that milestone contributing to more than 8.1 million global streams to date.

On June 7, Gibson Gives, Free Guitars 4 Kids, the U.S. Marine’s USMC MAW (Marine Aircraft Wing) band and (G3) musicians join forces for a jam session and donation event in an open parking lot across from the Garage with guitar lessons and 100 guitars being given to youth in Nashville’s underserved communities.

Since it opened on June 9, 2021, the Gibson Garage Nashville has been immersed in the local Nashville music community and has become a popular downtown destination to experience and explore live music.

On any given day visitors can catch in-store events and performances on the main stage, learn how to play a guitar, watch a taping of the Gibson TV series or explore a rotating inventory of hundreds of electric and acoustic guitars. Overhead, there is a conveyor belt featuring 300 guitars ready to be taken down, plugged in and played. The Garage also features exclusive apparel collections, one-of-a-kind instruments, celebrity and film memorabilia, interactive media stations, along with guitar gear and accessories.

With the popularity of Gibson Guitar Nashville, Gibson opened a second Garage location in London on Feb. 24, 2024, the first Gibson store located outside of the U.S.
