Rod Stewart Confirms Faces Reunion Set For Glastonbury

Rod Stewart is set to play the Legends Slot at this year’s edition of the Glastonbury Festival, but it seems he won’t be alone.
In an appearance on “That Peter Crouch Podcast,” Stewart told the former England striker and podcast host that he and former Faces bandmate and current Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood still speak frequently.
“Woody, I do [speak to] a lot,” Stewart said. “Just recently, ’cause we’re gonna do Glastonbury together.”
It caps nearly a year of speculation that a reunion of Faces was in the offing. The band — which also includes drummer Kenney Jones — announced they’d recorded tracks for a new album.
Jones, who Stewart did not mention, nevertheless primed the speculation pump in an April interview with “Somerset Live.” Asked if he would be joining his former confreres at Worthy Farm, he responded “I’m keeping that very quiet.”
In December, Stewart posted a picture of the trio together on Instagram, to which his daughter commented “Glasto reunion?”.
Glastonbury, which will be headlined by The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo, is set for June 25-29. The festival will take its traditional “fallow year” in 2026 and return in 2027.
