Brazilian Singer Gustavo Mioto Signs With WME

GUSTAVOMIOTO

WME bolstered its Latin music roster by adding Brazilian star Gustavo Mioto, marking the first sertanejo artist to join the agency’s global roster.

The 28-year-old singer-songwriter is one of Brazil’s most promising stars with nearly 4 billion views on YouTube and more than 9.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and his signing with WME indicates he’s ready to expand beyond Brazil to become an international star.

The deal also signifies the growing influence of Brazilian culture as well as the sertanejo genre. Mioto now serves as a global ambassador of the genre and aims to expand his music into Latin and North American markets.

Mioto has released nine albums and worked with artists like Anitta, Fábio Jr., Mari Fernandez, Jorge & Mateus and more.

He co-headlined a “Brasil Vibes” show at Altice Arena (now called MEO Arena) in Lisbon, Portugal, in May of 2023 that grossed $433,928 off 7,465 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
