‘TikTok For Artists’ Insight Platform Launches

TikTok has become one of the most vital music discovery platforms in the world, offering artists not only another valuable avenue to reach fans, but also providing a pathway to growing their audience.
Recognizing this, TikTok has launchedTikTok for Artists, an all-in-one insights platformk. The new platform provides artists, their labels and teams with data and insight to better connect with the global TikTok community and promote music.
It provides daily-updated analytics dashboards which display detailed, actionable data about the performance of an artist’s music and posts on TikTok, and insights into how the community is engaging with the artist and their music on the platform. Features include song performance, showing the number of views, posts and creator engagements per track. The platform tracks post performance, including the number of views, likes, comments, shares and post completion rates. It also provides insight on the age, gender and language of followers.
In addition, TikTok launched a pre-release tool for artists.. which gives them the ability to promote the forthcoming release of an album on TikTok. The feature will allow fans to pre-save that album directly to their Spotify or Apple Music library, where it will become instantly available upon its release.
