Live-events discovery platform Fever has acquired ticketing platform DICE, the companies announced June 5.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed and comes nearly a year after DICE was reportedly looking to sell a “major stake.”

DICE has raised nearly $200 million, including $65 million from MUSIC, the investment company founded by Matt Pincus. Earlier this week, Fever announced it had secured $100 million in new equity funding itself.

Fever’s music partners include Primavera Sound, Fabrik, Last Tour, Cercle and TCE Presents. DICE has deals with venues and festivals including Club Space, Newport Jazz and Folk Festival, Sonar, London’s Alexandra Palace and Rough Trade and has more than doubled its ticket sales since 2023, surpassing 10 million active monthly users.

“Since launching DICE in 2014, we’ve stayed true to our mission to get people out more by constantly enhancing the fan experience,” DICE founder and CEO Phil Hutcheon said in a release announcing the deal. “From our personalised Discover feature to our upfront, all-in pricing and Waitlist feature, we’ve always put fans first. That same ethos is what we’ve found in Fever. Joining forces allows us to scale even faster. Reaching new cities, helping sell out more shows, and delivering the seamless experience fans expect.”

In the release, the combined companies promise to “answer a growing demand for a consumer-first, innovation-led platform.”

“Built with a technology-first mindset and a deep commitment to community, this new force empowers artists and venues to grow on their own terms while continuing to serve the creative industries that inspire them,” the release says.
