Håkan Hellström Sets New Attendance Record at Sweden’s Ullevi Staduim

Swedish musician Håkan Hellström has broken the attendance record at Ullevi in Gothenborg, Sweden. First, by attracting 73,162 to his Friday, June 6 performance, then again by welcoming 73,781 fans to his second performance 24 hours later.
It marks a new attendance record at Ullevi, according to Rush Ent., co-promoters of the show alongside FKP Scorpio.
The previous record had also been held by Håkan Hellström, who set it in 2022, when he performed at Ullevi at total of four times, on the weekends of Aug. 19-20, and Aug. 26-27.
The last performance sold 71,977 tickets, grossing $6,341,447, according to the box office report submitted to Pollstar for the Aug. 27 show.
The promoter of those shows was Rush Ent together with FKP Scorpio Sweden, which used to be helmed by Niklas Lundell and Joel Borg, who left in 2024 to launch their own boutique promotion company, Rush Ent.
Håkan Hellström new attendance record at Ullevi also sets a new record for the largest Nordic show to date, according to a press release from Rush.
The artist has one more show at Ullevi lineup for June 13. His stage is placed in the bowl, which usually allows for higher audience capacities than an end-stage configuration.
For his June 6 performance, which took place on Sweden’s National Day, Håkan Hellström brought artists including Miriam Bryant, Sarah Klang, Nils Hasselgren Steen and comedian Björn Gustavsson on stage. The opening act was the Gothenburg icon Håkan Hägg, who played to his largest audience ever.
