Feminist Punk Band Bratmobile Back On The Road This Summer

After performing at a series of festivals the past few years, Bratmobile is going back on the road to bring their feminist punk attitude to U.S. venues in July and August.
It’s only fitting that the band returns to live music during a tumultuous period in American politics. The band formed amid an extreme political climate returns today to reach a new generation of fans.
The band kicks off their run July 18 at The Belasco in Los Angeles, a show for fans of all ages that includes Death Valley Girls and Trap Girl. Bratmobile then heads over to Oakland July 20 to perform at Mosswood Meltdown, where they reunited in 2023 after splitting up in 2003. The duo will travel to Vancouver, British Columbia, to perform at the Hollywood Theatre alogn with PISS and Necking on Aug. 21, followed by a concert at at Portland, Oregon’s Revolution on Aug. 22. The latter show will also feature Roselit Bone and All Girl Summer Fun Band. Bratmobile’s summer tour concludes Aug. 23 in their hometown of Olympia, Washington, at South Sound Block Party.
The band includes original vocalist Allison Wolfe and drummer Molly Neuman, and they will be joined by guitarist Rose Melberg (of Tiger Trap and the Softies), keyboardist Audry Marrs (Mocket and an Oscar-winning film producer) and bassist Marty Key (Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, Steady Sounds, Young Pioneers.
Bratmobile is booked by Concerted Efforts agency and last performed in 2024 at Pitchfork Music Festival at Union Park in Chicago. One of the band’s most successful outings in 2002 was a sold-out show at the Troubadour in West Hollywood that grossed $4,570 off 457 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
