We’re tapping into fresh channels that extend beyond the traditional live music space, opening the door to new experiences and audiences.”

Charlie Walker feels the best thing for morale is his team at C3 Presents.

“You have to love your job because it’s going to be a defining aspect of your life, and I work with people who have that same mindset,” the C3 Presents co-founder says.

At the top of those “people” are none other than Charles Attal and Amy Corbin, who together have built C3 Presents into one of the most dominant festival promoters not just in the United States, but across the globe. Lollapalooza continues to expand, the festival now having a footprint in India 2025 marking its third consecutive instalment, and this year, C3 Presents teamed up with BLAST.tv to have a footprint in the e-sports space.

“Our festival portfolio feels stronger than ever, and fans are seeing real value in discovering multiple artists in one setting,” says Corbin, long known as a steady hand in the two-weekend Austin City Limits Music Festival in particular, but who also runs the Live Nation Concerts South Region operations, as the concert giant acquired C3 Presents in 2014.

“I’m loving the shift toward earlier show times – there’s no rule that says artists must go on at 9 p.m. or later,” she adds. “It’s a simple change that makes live music more accessible.”

In a volatile industry that requires late hours and often involves somewhat unconventional problem-solving, Attal says it’s important to keep perspective and control what you can in the rest of life.

“Most of us were not taught this as we came up in the business, but you have to manage your time wisely so that you can take care of your body and mind,” says Attal. “Don’t make excuses, because it’s all you’ve got. I hear from young employees sometimes that the job is stressing them out, and I try to dig deeper to help them find the root cause. Something is always affecting their life more than work, so encouraging them to cut out some of the extra noise, getting more sleep, and exercising will result in a healthier work life.”
