Respected industry-wide, Jay Marciano has been a concert promoter since he was in his 20s, having come through the ranks of Universal Concerts, AEG Europe and Madison Square Garden Entertainment before rejoining AEG in 2011.

Under his leadership, the company has promoted massive tours by some of today’s biggest artists, including sold-out treks this year from Tyler, The Creator; Luke Combs; and Zach Bryan. Plus, in September Bryan will headline a first-of-its-kind concert at Michigan Stadium, which has a capacity of 107,601.

AEG Presents, under Marciano’s aegis, owns and operates more than 100 music venues, including the new high-touch, high-tech 4,500-cap. music venue in Nashville Yards, The Pinnacle, which opened Feb. 27 with seven-time Grammy winner and Nashville neo-classic darling Kacey Musgraves.

Marciano has guided global expansion. In March, AEG announced a partnership with Cárdenas Marketing Network (CMN), the Chicago-based international Latin music powerhouse. The deal with CMN founder and CEO Henry Cárdenas catapults AEG Presents into a world leader in live Latin music.

And this past March, the promoter announced a multiyear strategic partnership with Korean entertainment company KQ Entertainment that sees AEG Presents handling tours for K-pop boy band ATEEZ worldwide.

The firm has also made an impact developing and supporting industry-leading festivals like Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Stagecoach in Southern California, British Summer Time Hyde Park, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and the inaugural Morgan Wallen Presents Sand In My Boots, which took place May 16-18 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Marciano is having an impact outside of the industry, as well. He is working with City of Hope and Chef Evan Funke, David Blaine and Conan O’Brien to host three exclusive events this year to raise funds for the nonprofit cancer research center.
