unnamed 2025 06 17T110044.262

For the first time since 2023, Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky destination festival will hit Cancun Jan. 15-19, 2026.

Wilco will play three shows during the five-day, four-night event at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The lineup also includes Dr. Dog, Dinosaur Jr., MJ Lenderman, Waxahatchee and more.

“Every time we are asked to help curate one of these festivals it feels like a dream opportunity to gather up our families, invite some friends, old and new, and sing some songs by the sea,” Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy said in a press release. “Truly a hard thing to argue with in terms of a good time. Want to join us? We hope you can. We’d love to see you. You might even see one of us in shorts. Not likely, but it’s your best shot.”

Sky Blue Sky — which is produced by Cloud 9 Adventures, The Bowery Presents and Higher Ground Presents — launched in 2022 and returned the following year, but has been on hiatus since.

Packages for the all-inclusive weekend range from $2,300 to $4,300. The pre-sale for returning guests starts June 24 with the public on-sale scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern June 25.

Wilco is currently touring Europe. On a U.S. theater and amp run this spring — supported by Waxahatchee — the band grossed $153,673 on 2,423 tickets at Birmingham’s BJCC Concert Hall May 12, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.

Wilco is booked in North America by High Road Touring and elsewhere by Paul Boswell at Free Trade Agency.
